About Rivalry Collective

Rivalry Collective, an unofficial fan merch shop, was born out of a genuine love for Heated Rivalry and the stories it tells.

As a First-Generation American, I found myself deeply moved by Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov's journeys — the pressure, the identity, the expectations, and, ultimately, the choice to love despite everything stacked against them. Their story felt both powerful and personal.

The more I invested in the show, the more I came to admire Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie through their interviews — watching them build their careers on their own terms, carving out space for themselves without shortcuts. That kind of intentionality deserves to be celebrated.

Through a series of events, I became the moderator of an online community where fans can engage with the show thoughtfully — celebrating the storytelling, supporting the actors, and keeping conversations grounded while minimizing unhealthy parasocial dynamics. What started off as an idea to create one shirt for the community grew into something more.

But the vision doesn't stop there. In an ideal world, a portion of the revenue would go toward something lasting: a scholarship at Langara College to support an emerging Asian Canadian student pursuing a career in acting. There are so many talented, underrepresented artists who deserve visibility, opportunity, and a real shot. It's an ambitious goal, but I know how strong this community is and am optimistic about the opportunity to give back.
